After caring for my father and working with the VA, and providing meals for several veteran funerals and events, it has become a special part of my business. We offer a 10% discount for active military and veteran events.
At Crave Catering, we understand what it means to cater to our customers and give them the experience they are looking for.

I have been feeding people one way or another since the early 80's when I worked at Round Table Pizza and set the record for the fastest pizza maker. I worked at a deli, and eventually owned my own back in my hometown. After raising my family, I have now come back to the food industry. For the past four years, my son and I have been chefs at a local wedding venue, created menus, provided tastings and have served thousands of people. We wanted to share this amazing experience with our community on a larger scale, so Crave was born!
My big brother was a chef in the army, then he cooked at the prison until he became a correctional officer and then worked his way up to Captain so he never pursued his dream to be a chef. But he was amazing and we loved gathering at his home for any event because we knew the food was going to be off the charts amazing. He retired from the prison at age 50, but unfortunately he was facing stage 4 colon cancer. During that year, we dreamed of opening our own restaurant, or a food truck, and he kept encouraging me to do it, no matter what happened to him. We lost him in December 2018. Grief struck and I wasn't ready to move forward without him.
My father was also an amazing cook! He loved experimenting with flavors, bbq, sauces, seasonings, and mostly, how to cook with all different cuts and types of meat. He started teaching me when I was in high school and we have cooked together many times since then. The most recent was while I was caring for him at the end of his life. for 17 months, we tried every recipe imaginable to wake up his taste buds, get his appetite strong, and his body as healthy as it could be. Our lives truly centered around the kitchen, him still teaching me, but also me teaching him. He was so impressed at my talent, and lit up and raved every time I showed him pictures of my events, or when he tasted my food. I lost my dad on Thanksgiving, 2024. His goal was to make his famous gravy and although he didn't get to cook it that day, he did make it to his goal date.
So, now I cook with two angels, who are always encouraging me and are proud of what I am doing. I am not alone in this and when I am not sure, I feel them give me the little push I need.
